Mark-Making - we will explore a variety of tools and mediums, to discover our preferred and unique marks.

Shape and Value - we will work with collage to discover the role value plays in our perception of shapes, and the role shape and value both play in composition

Pattern and Texture - we will create patterns and textures with a gelli plate and consider the ways these elements help to lead the eye and build interest on a surface

Complementary Color - we will dig into a powerful element of color mixing - the use of complements to create rich color palettes

Going Big - with large rolls of paper on the floor, and brushes on sticks, we will explore mark-making again through the use of large scale movement
